liquid venom | advertisement
To highlite a product, even so specific as a perfume, making a display poster is a good way to go. This piece brings out all the poisonous positives of the crazy liquid venom perfume.

Recently, the only thing I have persuaded myself to finish is “just” another part of the Graphic Design colloquium — advertisement, poster. To keep the strenght of the idea, I decided to continue with the (unfortunately) fictive brand LIQUID COSMETICS and its product, eau de parfume for men — LIQUID VENOM.
Since I always wanted to design a big poster using some “cool” photography&montage I started a longlasting search for the suitable photo which lead into one vision. I wanted a face of a guy with the “right” look. His look mustn’t have been too cool, too sweet, too dirty or gothic. Nothing like that. He was to evoke the feeling of a self-confident freak.

As the world goes, you won’t realize you’ve found what you’ve been looking for untill you see it. I realized it when I saw the picure of Oralus by a polish photographer (and deviantartist) Grzegorz Szczerbaciuk aka *vidi. The crazy guy (on the photo) represented the whole LIQUID VENOM idea just with his expression. With *vidi’s kind permission, nothing but slothfulness (and the everlasting lack of time) held me back from production.
To make the experience even more venomous, some colourings were made, then I pushed a render of a LIQUID VENOM perfume (with mirrored floor, for the dimension made real) behind HIM and created this really weird environment.
As the main title, the slogan “Pure nonconformity.” was used, and of course the “persuading” twaddle. Wanna be that cool? Just taste the LIQUID VENOM.
If you want a full-size poster in a print resolution (A3, 300dpi), you may have it — just let me know by email.

Hey what’s the idea of the liquid venom perfume? I mean what’s the fictional brand supposed to do?

I think it is explained a bit in the article liquid cosmetics | product design. Briefly.. an imaginary comsmetics brand. Liquid venom - perfume just not for everyone :o)
